Know what a file gives away before you send it.
Check before sharingDrop the photo, PDF or Office file you’re about to send. Metvoro lists the location, names and hidden content it carries, makes a clean copy, then reads the copy again to show what was removed and what’s still there.

What it finds
What the check covers.
- Location
- GPS coordinates in photos, shown exactly as recorded.
- Names and usernames
- Authors, last editors, companies and account names that apps write into files.
- Hidden content
- Comments, tracked changes, hidden text, sheets and slides, speaker notes, attachments and scripts.
- Devices and dates
- Phone and camera models, serial numbers, and when the file was made, saved or printed.
- A re-checked clean copy
- After cleaning, Metvoro reads the copy again and compares it with the original, category by category.
- Honest limits
- Content such as comments stays in a clean copy, and Metvoro tells you where to remove it. It never labels a file safe.

Questions
Questions, answered.
Does this tell me a file is safe to share?
No. It shows what the file’s metadata reveals and what a clean copy removes. It doesn’t check what the picture or text shows, so look at the content yourself too.
Why is something still there after cleaning?
Comments, tracked changes, hidden sheets, speaker notes, attachments and form data are part of the document, not metadata. A clean copy keeps them on purpose, and the check tells you where to remove them.
How does Metvoro know what was removed?
It reads the clean copy again with the same analysis it used on the original and compares the two, category by category. Nothing is assumed.
Is my file stored?
No. Files are analysed and cleaned in memory on Metvoro’s server and discarded straight away. The clean copy is downloaded to your device.
